Dr. Lisa Johnson received her Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, and immediately began practicing in the area of outpatient sports and orthopedics. She earned a Master of Science degree from Touro College and a Post-Professional Clinical Doctorate from Stony Brook University. She holds the distinction of dual certification by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, as well as Women’s Health Physical Therapy. She earned her Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from Erie Community College in Williamsville, NY and a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She has experience working in various settings including: inpatients, outpatients, rehabilitation, homecare, hospice and long-term care. After completing her degrees, she became the Lead Physical Therapist at the University of Florida’s Student Health Care Clinic, where she worked with UF’s Sports Medicine Physicians coordinating care for the varsity student athletes. Kerrianne is also certified in Pelvic Health 1 through the APTA. Dr. Sanicola return seasonally to New York where she has been the Varsity Head Swimming Coach for Bethleham Central in Delmar, NY for the last 10 years. During her undergraduate degree, she assisted in coordinating care for UE’s NCAA Division 1 Sports Teams, including an intensive 1-year focus on Men’s Soccer. While obtaining her DPT, Dr. Swartzentruber participated in all 3 branches of Ace CARE, a student led pro-bono physical therapy program that serves an orthopedic, neurologic, and pediatric population. Michele is our Office Administrator with over 20 years in the medical field. She has extensive experience in primary care and urology offices. Michele attended the LPN program at MTI in Bradenton, Florida and received training in Phlebotomy. Subsequently she worked in her family’s business providing technology and administration support. Michele’s background enables her to provide our patients with exceptional administrative and clinical knowledge. Michele lives in Sarasota, FL, with her husband and has 3 children and a grandchild .
