A specialist in human performance and orthopedic recovery, Dr. Isak Holt brings a distinctive dual perspective to physical therapy—combining elite sports performance training with advanced clinical orthopedic expertise. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The Ohio State University, Isak spent several years working with high-level athletics, including the 2018 season with the Ohio Machine (MLL), as well as competitive high school programs. This experience sharpened his understanding of biomechanics, injury prevention, and performance optimization at the highest levels of sport.
Isak went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College in 2020. Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Holt completed an APTA-credentialed Orthopedic Residency, an intensive post-doctoral program focused on advanced differential diagnosis, evidence-based manual therapy, and the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions. He subsequently earned board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), reflecting advanced expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation. He is also certified in dry needling, allowing him to provide a comprehensive, hands-on approach to orthopedic care that supports recovery, resilience, and long-term movement health.
As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and CrossFit Level 2 Coach, Isak blends clinical precision with intelligent strength and conditioning strategies tailored to each patient’s goals and stage of life. He is committed to providing a comprehensive, hands-on approach to orthopedic care that supports recovery, resilience, and long-term movement health. When Isak isn’t in the clinic, you’ll find him scuba diving, playing beach volleyball, or staying active with his dog, Dash.
